Are Degenerate Liberal Cities Really as Bad as They're Made Out to Be?

Society is obviously better when it’s a complete free for for all - that’s NOT anarchy and hedonism on display. Not at all.

This cartoon (depicting reality) is the boomer era “love is love” and “live and let live” in practice. This is where all that warm and fuzzy abrogation of self-control and promotion of self-indulgence went.

This Weimar Republic free-for-all is the OPPOSITE of Jesus’ preaching. Jesus did NOT preach that we are to approve of all human behavior. Nor did he say “if it offends them, don’t say anything.”

Again - He preached the OPPOSITE. We are called to rebuke sin dead in its sights even when it is considered divisive. Confronting it both in ourselves and in others.

Jesus own words explicitly clarify in Matthew 10:34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Those are JESUS words - not mine. If you have a problem with those words, you have a problem with Jesus Christ, not me. This is vital to understand and vital for all Christians to be able to use as their defense when attacked by Christ-deniers.

When we start pretending that sin is not sin, wrong is not wrong, we are immediately complicit.

I will not be complicit in intentionally rejecting and blaspheming against God’s wishes here on earth. You guys can reject Him all you want, never make yourself uncomfortable for him, create your own luke-warm arbitrary pick-and-choose Christianity that isn’t biblical whatsoever.

“But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15)
